Unlike people, not all HDMI cables are created equal. For one, not all HDMI cables are eye patterned tested for guaranteed compliance with HDMI 1.3 specifications. Many are only tested up to 720p/1080i resolution. The D.B. Connector however passes a rigorous HDMI certified1080p eye pattern test at speeds above 165 MHz, twice the bandwidth necessary for 720p/1080i (as shown in the first diagram below).

Our cable conforms to HDMI 1.3 and HDCP v1.2 and so it can carry the 1080p True HD signal with plenty of bandwidth to spare for things like DTS-HD sound. Here’s what it’s made of and what it does:-

• 28 AWG small form factor cable - diameter only 9.5 mm enables the D.B. Connector to be easily hidden.
• Greater cable capacity for support of 12-bit colour, also called Deep Colour.
• Supports Dolby True HD and DTS-HD lossless surround sound as well as 5.1 and 7.1 sound
